At last..
Such a busy night. I don't think I've ever been that busy before. I hardly had time to sit down, much less do anything else. I did, however, make some decent cash, but it all came with a price.
I was called a fucking cunt, was tipped with latex condoms (which I'm allergic to) and called a skank, and some douche broke my tip jar.
All in all, it was a decent night, but of course, people think they have to be cute.

I'm back!
I'm at least making some money.
I've run into quite a few people I know, which is always nice.
My room is almost full, but I can't complain. Though, I was really
looking forward to getting some homework done.
On another note: why are peoples' dollar bills always crumpled and WET?! Gross!

Bummer
them. Looks like I will be going home soon. Oh well! Time at home
doesn't sound so bad right now, though.

And so it begins...
coffee, so I'm pretty wired.
I'm left by myself in my coat check area. The event tonight has been
moved to the smaller room, and the promoters are taking their entry
fee in the other room. I'm going to guess that since they did the new
years event on wednesday, that there will be a lack in attendance.
I'm debating on sitting in the other room and trying to work coat
check out of there. I really don't want to hear the music they are
playing. I'm not much of a fan, but they play the same songs week to
week, to boot. When events are in the other room, patrons are less
likely to use coat check. With that, I suspect I will be sent home
early, but we will see.
I definitely won't make tips tonight, as this crowd doesn't tip, but
I've made a decent amount this week already, that I won't worry about
that.
And so the night begins...

New Blog, New Year
I've worked this seasonal job for the past 3 winters. It's an easy job, but with all jobs, there are rants and headaches to deal with.
So what can you, as readers, expect?
I do ask that if you know me personally, please do not give away my identity or location. This is purely for fun, but I would prefer to remain somewhat anonymous.
Interacting with different people interests me. I'm no sociologist, by all means. I just enjoy sharing some of my encounters with people.
So, let's start!
I'm working a hip-hop "grown & sexy" event tonight. It's pretty dead, but I have a few coats. I've only been tipped $1n but that's better than the $0.34 I made in tips last night. It is generally customary to tip your coatcheck person $1 or more, just like drinks at a bar. However, most people don't do this. I understand that the economy has gone downhill, etc., but people in the service industry rely on tips.
The people aren't very friendly, but I'm not here to make friends.
The music is decent and paletable, but as you've probably guessed, I'm bored.
I had 10 coats just minutes ago, and now I'm down to 3. I really can't stand when a group or couple decides to leave and they give me their tickets one at a time.
Anyway, since it's dead, I'm going to roam around.
